Core Business
Apex’s expertise resides in many facets of the property and casualty
insurance industry, though our core niche is in the areas of habitational,
hospitality and mercantile & retail classes. The following is a summary of
our focus markets:

Habitational: We focus on apartments, condominium associations,
and hotels
& motels providing both property and general liability coverages. Our
preferred risks tend to be the middle-market accounts in the area of 50 –
1,000 units and with a total insured value up to $10 million. |

Hospitality: We underwrite restaurants, bars, taverns and clubs on a
mono-line or package basis, including liquor liability. Assault and battery
coverage is provided on a limited basis depending upon the underwriting
characteristics. |

Mercantile/Retailer: We generally focus on small to mid-sized retail
shopping facilities and strip shopping centers. |
|
Other: In addition to the aforementioned risk classes, the remainder
of our business consists of various classes of premises-based risks such as
offices,
distributors, etc. |
