Mr. Longbons partnered with Mr. Rahn in the founding of Apex at the beginning of 2000 and has a significant investment in the company.  Prior to that time he spent eight years at Monitor Liability Managers, the professional liability underwriting division of the W.R. Berkley Group.  Mr. Longbons also served Enam Insurance Management; an underwriting program manager representing certain underwriting syndicates at Lloyds of London.  Prior to that, he spent eight years at KPMG where he specialized in the property and casualty insurance industry.
