Mr. Rahn founded Apex in January 2000 and has a significant investment in the company.  Prior to Apex, Mr. Rahn was with Alliance Insurance Group for 14 years, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer for the last five years.  Mr. Rahn’s prior positions with Alliance Insurance Group also include Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to joining Alliance Insurance Group, Mr. Rahn spent two years as Vice President of Finance and Administration with National Underwriting Agency, Inc., a managing general agency in the commercial excess property and casualty insurance industry.  Prior to that, he spent nine years with KPMG, a "Big 5" public accounting firm, working a majority of that time in the insurance industry.
